Raised amidst the fertile landscapes that stretched beyond my great grandmother's kitchen, I was often sent to the farm to gather fresh, organic produce. These formative experiences not only fostered my deep love for food but also taught me the invaluable principle of 'farm to table' - a philosophy that emphasizes the direct sourcing of ingredients from local producers to enhance the quality and flavor of meals.
At the age of 16, I moved to the United States, where I embarked on a professional journey with the Marriott Corporation in their Food and Beverage department. Over the course of 22 years, I not only enjoyed every moment of my career but also rose through the ranks to manage multiple hotel food and beverage operations. My passion for ensuring the culinary excellence and safety of our offerings was further ignited when I encountered a situation where a guest fell ill due to a food-related issue. This pivotal moment steered me towards specializing in Food Safety.
Driven by a commitment to prevent such incidents, I became a Food Safety Instructor, dedicating myself to educating others in the field. Over the past decade, I have proudly certified over 25,000 individuals, contributing to safer dining experiences across the board. Additionally, my team and I have overseen the operations of over 100 restaurants, ensuring they meet the highest standards of service quality. Through conducting 365 food and beverage audits annually, we strive to maintain a secure and healthy dining environment for all.

ServSafe is a comprehensive food and restaurant safety program developed by the National Restaurant Association.
